Our Founder
Rachel Steliga
Rachel Steliga is the founder and CEO of Myles High Accounting. She is part of a large community of bookkeepers, CPAs, CFOs, MBAs, and attorneys that are all experts in the cannabis industry.
As a native to Colorado, she has watched the expansion of cannabis bloom, and has seen the benefits to her community first hand. She has also benefited from cannabis personally. Rachel has suffered from insomnia, anxiety, and depression. As a heavy believer in all things natural, she turned to cannabis (and therapy) over Big Pharma and has seen a drastic improvement to her mental health symptoms. This brought her to her mission to advocate for both the medical and environmental benefits of cannabis, and work towards legalizing marijuana at a federal level. Values that Rachel holds near and dear to her heart includes family, integrity, honesty, peace, and kindness.
On top of being an entrepreneur, she’s working towards instilling those same values into her boys - Jax (2) and Bentley (under 1). Her husband, Tom, is also an advocate for cannabis legalization. Together, during their off time, they enjoy being outdoors - whether that be hiking, snowboarding, off-roading, or just taking a stroll.
Rachel trusts that with her motivation, detail-oriented skills, and thirst for knowledge, she can accomplish anything! This includes ensuring that information is 100% correct before submitting them to our clients. She wants our clients to feel and know that their financials are ready for any investor, lender, auditor, and tax filing at any point.
